Scholarships

Each school year Kingsway Academy High School offers scholarships for deserving ninth (9th) grade students attending any of the public schools.

The Grace Tatham Kemp Academic Scholarship – Named in honour of KingswayAcademy’s founder, Mrs. Grace Tatham Kemp.  This is a three (3) year scholarship offered to a well rounded student entering grade ten (10) with proven, strong academic performance.

The Ned Wallace Sports Scholarship – Named in honour of one of KingswayAcademy’ earliest building contractors and former board member, Mr. Ned Wallace.

This is a three (3) year scholarship offered to a well rounded student entering grade ten (10) with proven, strong academic and sports performance.

How To Apply

Interested Students entering grade ten (10) in each new academic school year should submit the following: 

  • Completed Kingsway High School application form, available at the school's office or can be downloaded here
  • Letter of recommendation from your school's Principal
  • Letter of recommendation from your school's coach, if applying for the sports scholarship.
  • Copy of identification pages in valid passport.
  • Personal statement sharing your involvement in your school, church and community and your future educational plans and goals.
  • Transcript of your last three (3) academic grades, i.e. grades seven (7), eight (8), and nine (9) to date, which should be submitted in a sealed envelope from your school.

*Note Short-listed candidates will be invited to sit the scholarship examination and being successful, must attend a scheduled interview.
