The most formative years of a child’s life are spent in elementary school. Children begin forming beliefs and habits that will guide their decisions and choices in the future. Here at Kingsway Academy lifelong learning begins! It is our goal to ensure that students are trained in academic excellence and guided in a Christ-centered culture.
Beginning with kindergarten, every child is taught the academic foundations that will prepare them for higher education and ultimately to become striving and successful citizens. Our teachers are well-trained in the highly regarded ABeka curriculum intertwined with the Ministry of Education syllabus. Students engage in a variety of learning methods that cater to different learning styles and are given opportunities to demonstrate their learning in class work, homework, special projects, and oral presentations. A variety of teaching methods are employed including individual and group instruction, and remedial assistance as needed.
The classroom is extended beyond the four walls and lessons come alive as students participate in various field trips throughout the year. In addition to the core academic subjects, our classes also enjoy P. E., Music, Spanish, Art, Computer, and Library.
